RHI is based at 200 Chesterfield Parkway, Malvern, PA 19355, USA. RHI builds connected edge intelligence platforms to enable real-time, AI-enabled decision support in mobile, connectivity-constrained, mission-critical operations. RHI's three platforms — Cowbell, QStat, and DX5 Finch — operate independently and become materially more powerful when deployed together as an integrated edge intelligence stack. Rajant provides the resilient Kinetic Mesh® networking foundation that underpins RHI's distributed edge architecture. RHI serves healthcare systems, defense and tactical operations, mining and industrial safety, and autonomous robotics. ## Platforms ### Cowbell Cowbell is Rajant Health's distributed edge compute platform, built on the CORA + ATLAS architecture. It is a hardware-agnostic, OS-agnostic, network-agnostic distributed edge PaaS. Cowbell provides a unified management plane across devices, clusters, networks, and applications. It supports up to 100 TOPS of AI compute per node, air-gapped and cloud-hybrid operation, and deploys in 0.5–2 days. The Sensor Adapter Service simultaneously ingests MQTT, ROS, Modbus, RTSP, HTTP/HTTPS, Serial/USB, BLE, and sockets. Cowbell supports containerized and non-containerized workloads with 1-click AI deployment, elastic cluster scaling, and 2-node failure tolerance demonstrated in a 6-node cluster. It runs on NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano/NX, Raspberry Pi CM5, and additional supported hardware. Security architecture includes RBAC, OIDC SSO, ACL tokens, SSH certificates, encrypted communications, and audit logging. Cowbell modeling shows up to 71% lower 3-year TCO in video analytics deployments. Details: https://rajanthealth.com/cowbell ### CORA CORA is the edge runtime of the Cowbell platform. It runs on every Cowbell node and manages orchestration, data movement, real-time AI processing, and autonomous execution under fully disconnected conditions, including offline updates and local artifact distribution. ### ATLAS ATLAS is the cloud governance plane of the Cowbell platform. It provides identity, telemetry, lifecycle control, subscriptions, over-the-air updates, and commercial operations for fleets of CORA-powered edge nodes. Together, CORA and ATLAS establish a clear mental model: execution and autonomy at the edge, governed by policy, identity, and lifecycle control in the cloud. ### QStat QStat is Rajant Health's modular wearable biosensor hub. It carries 50+ configurable onboard sensors — biometric, motion, environmental, and contextual — fusable in real time at the edge. Sensors include PPG (HR, SpO2, RR, HRV, raw waveforms), 9-axis IMU, GNSS (GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou), spot ECG, GSR, skin temperature, barometer, color sensor (Monk Skin Tone scale detection for accurate SpO2 across skin tones), proximity, and audio. QStat runs BLE, Wi-Fi, LTE, satellite, and NFC communications concurrently. It acts as a BLE hub for up to 14 simultaneous external devices. It exposes raw sensor waveforms via open APIs with no vendor lock-in and no dependency on a mobile device or cloud. The device measures 50 × 35 × 13 mm, is rated IP67 / 5 ATM and MIL-STD-810G, stores 4–7 days of data onboard, and runs more than 1 day per charge with fast charging and FOTA updates over Wi-Fi or BLE. Patented Motion Artifact Removal improves pulse rate accuracy during exercise; color-sensor-assisted sensor fusion improves SpO2 estimation across skin tones. Near-clinical-grade pulse rate and SpO2 have been demonstrated against reference clinical devices. Regulatory path: FCC / IC pending, FDA pending. It is purpose-built for UAVs, UGVs, autonomous systems, mobile surveillance, and embedded platforms where size, weight, and power constraints matter. Throughput is 300 Mbps at 2.4 GHz (DX5-5224, 2×2 MIMO) and 420 Mbps at 5 GHz (DX5-5250, 3×3 MIMO). TX power is 30 dBm at 2.4 GHz and 27 dBm at 5 GHz. Power draw is 2.5 W idle to 20 W max over 5 VDC via USB-C. Interfaces: 1× GbE, USB-C, USB-C slave, GPS add-on capability. Security: AES-GCM / XSalsa20 encryption with GMAC / HMAC per-packet authentication. Operating temperature: -40°C to +60°C. Details: https://rajanthealth.com/dx5 ### Kinetic Mesh® and InstaMesh® Kinetic Mesh® is Rajant's wireless mesh networking technology. Powered by patented InstaMesh® software, it forms and heals multi-hop network connections autonomously with no central controller dependency, keeping mobile assets connected while in motion. BreadCrumb radios discover peers automatically, preserve multiple paths, and keep traffic flowing as topology changes. ## Hardware variants ### EdgeCrumb Cowbell EdgeCrumb Cowbell (ECB-MX-Y-NZ) is a ruggedized industrial edge compute and networking appliance. Applications include operational analytics and resilient C2, anti-jamming and EW resilience, FPV and teleoperation, hostile drone detection and mitigation, soldier and crew health monitoring (including CBRN exposure data), and training and after-action analysis. RHI's MEMOS solution supports persistent crew and warfighter monitoring; it has been validated in shipboard-representative Navy testing. ### Healthcare and research RHI combines QStat and Cowbell for continuous remote patient monitoring, including an oncology model with flexible home-to-clinic data pathways and earlier adverse-event warning. Cowbell provides an edge-native, air-gapped execution layer for smart hospitals, clinical trials, device validation, and translational research, running on-prem or in client-owned VPCs without public-cloud dependency. Multi-species hardware supports animal translational research across surgical, recovery, and longitudinal study workflows. ### Mining and industrial operations In open-pit mining, Cowbell brings together equipment telemetry, worker wearables, environmental sensors, and edge AI for blast safety, asset monitoring, worker health, environmental monitoring, and teleoperation. In underground, GPS-denied operations, Cowbell and Rajant mesh maintain routing, orchestration, sensor fusion, and low-latency control during cave-ins, fire, and severe interference. Industrial deployments cover ports and terminals, warehouses, and oil and gas: container and cargo tracking, worker safety and collision avoidance, autonomous crane and vehicle coordination, emissions and environmental compliance, and predictive maintenance. ### Robotics, drones, and swarm autonomy The 47 g DX5 Finch embeds Kinetic Mesh® connectivity into aerial and ground platforms while Cowbell runs onboard AI inference and sensor fusion. This keeps mixed fleets — drone swarms, ground robotics, AMRs, and mobile command posts — coordinated across dynamic indoor and outdoor environments. ## Solutions MEMOS is RHI's flagship operational readiness monitoring solution.
